About
Ernest Delahaye
Ernest Delahaye was a friend and childhood companion of Arthur Rimbaud. They met in Charleville, Rimbaud's hometown in the Ardennes region of France, where both attended secondary school. Their friendship developed during their adolescence, bonded by shared interests in literature and poetry. Unlike Rimbaud's more prominent associates such as Paul Verlaine, Delahaye did not achieve significant literary recognition beyond his association with Rimbaud during their formative years in Charleville.
