The Rimbaud Suites concept

Give to the Ardennes
their letters of nobility

The concept

The “Rimbaud suites” project is based on a double passion around the life of Rimbaud and the territory of the Ardennes. His primary wish is to share the best of our territory with a type of accommodation that combines quality and simplicity while respecting the principles of ecotourism. All of this fits into an atmosphere that reminds us at all times of the life of the greatest poet with a world-renowned work, born in Charleville.

All the apartments have a direct link
with Arthur Rimbaud

All the apartments have a direct link with Arthur Rimbaud in an atmosphere taking up the codes of the 19th century: marble, wood, leather, brass. Almost everything recalls the life of the rebellious poet: direct view of the Rimbaud museum or his birthplace, books made available on his life, his work as well as the classic works that forged his literary culture. Modern comfort, meeting today’s expectations, is also in the spotlight: Wi-Fi, Netflix, equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, linen sheets, …

100% Ardennes artisans and traders

100% Ardennes artisans and traders

All apartments have been completely renovated, furnished and decorated by craftsmen and merchants 100% from the Ardennes. Indeed, all the craftsmen (windows, painting, electricity, plumbing, tiling), who contributed to the renovation, are from the Ardennes; the furniture was chosen from a cabinetmaker in Rethel; appliances at a merchant in downtown Charleville-Mézières; the logo and website were produced by a team of professionals from Charleville-Mézières; the linen was produced and purchased from a shopkeeper in Angecourt; the kitchens were designed and installed by a trader from Charleville-Mézières; the interior layout plans come from a Sedan company. Even the accountant is from the Ardennes!
The “Rimbaud suites” apartments thus offer unique accommodation in the heart of Rimbaldia, combining quality and simplicity in the very center of Charleville-Mézières, in the French Ardennes.
